This American alcohol company was found in Louisville, Kentucky by George Garvin Brown in 1870. A young pharmaceuticals salesman, Brown had the then-novel idea of selling top-grade whiskey in sealed glass bottles and went on to create a prosperous company which, during the prohibition period of 1920-33 was granted a national licenses to produce medicinal whiskey. Today, it has annual sales of over $3b, with its most famous brand of course being Jack Daniel’s, however it also sells top quality wines, gins and vodkas, and the company’s ethos based on Integrity, Respect, trust and Teamwork show through each of their delicious offerings.
