By now you know the importance of drinking enough water but it’s often easier said than done. A simple solution? Investing in a reusable water bottle that you can refill throughout the day. Carrying one around with you will make you more likely to drink up, plus, the benefits for the environment (and your wallet!) make the one-time purchase worth it.
In the Good Housekeeping Institute, we test water bottles on performance evaluations like resistance of leaking and spilling; durability evaluations to determine the bottle’s ability to resist breaking when dropped from sipping height using our Drop Tester machine; and ease evaluations to determine the ease of opening and closing the bottle, comfort of drinking from the bottle, and ease of cleaning. We also send bottles home with consumer testers who provide feedback on each bottle’s ability to resist leaking and spilling and overall satisfaction. After testing 25 bottles and parsing through nearly 200 data points, we found the best reusable water bottles in every material and for every activity.
